Dynegy finds opportunities for employees to work together and have a measurable impact in the areas where we operate—including Houston, Collinsville, Cincinnati and our power station communities.

Dynegy employees in Collinsville team with other southern Illinois business leaders to work with East Side Aligned, a collective impact process addressing issues affecting the children and youth of Greater East St. Louis. The best people and organizations are working together with a common vision to make sure all young people are ready for school, work and life by 2025.

Dynegy’s work earned the Governor’s Volunteer Service Award from the Serve Illinois Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service, recognizing the importance of difference-making volunteer activities across the state of Illinois.

Rebuilding Houston reinvigorates neighborhoods by repairing and renovating homes at no cost to low-income elderly, disabled or service veterans in need. Dynegy employees power communities by volunteering their time to complete projects, with tasks for various skill levels.
