Cultivating diverse supplier relationships is an integral part of our business strategy. Dynegy’s Enterprise Supplier Diversity Initiative (ESDI) is a corporate-wide responsibility that reflects the growing diversity of our markets, customers and employees. ESDI supports our commitment to create and foster mutually rewarding business relationships for Dynegy stakeholders.

• Support economic growth in the communities where we live and work; and

ESDI Policy

Dynegy defines M/WBEs as for-profit business enterprises that are at least 51-percent owned, managed and controlled by U.S. citizens belonging to one or more of the following socially and economically disadvantaged groups: African, Asian, Hispanic, Native Americans and non-minority females. M/WBEs that wish to be considered for participation in Dynegy's ESDI must be certified by an affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), www.nmsdcus.org, and/or the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), www.wbenc.org.

Dynegy provides opportunities for M/WBEs to participate in its procurement process to the fullest extent possible by:

• Identifying, assisting and developing M/WBEs to become qualified suppliers to Dynegy and/or Dynegy's first tier and alliance suppliers;
• Encouraging purchases from qualified M/WBEs; and
• Conducting periodic evaluations of the results with respect to Dynegy's supplier diversity objectives.
