Charles C. Cook Executive Vice President, Commercial and Market Analytics

Charles C. Cook serves as Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations and Market Analytics. He is responsible for Dynegy’s commercial and asset management functions related to its power generation assets.   In addition, Cook leads a team that develops and executes both trading and term contracting options for the company’s power generation fleet.

Cook joined Dynegy’s predecessor Destec Energy, Inc. in 1991. When the company was acquired by Dynegy, Cook joined the Treasury group.  He has held positions of increasing responsibility including Vice President; Vice President and Assistant Treasurer; Senior Vice President and Treasurer; and Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning, Corporate Business Development and Treasurer.

Cook earned both a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Texas.
